ADC are experienced installers of structured cabling solutions.(a standardized cabling system designed to integrate voice, data and video signals.)The entire cabling infrastructure is presented on a patch panel. To change the connectivity is as simple as plugging the appropriate patch lead or adapter into the relevant RJ45 port. Each pair is isolated from the other pairs by an internal separator designed to significantly improves the insertion loss, return loss and cross talk providing a better signal to noise ratio. Because of the improved transmission performance and superior immunity from external noise allows for higher reliability in current applications and higher data rates for future applications |

Cat6a or Augmented Catergory 6 is the latest standard defined for twisted pair cable for frequenciesw up to 500 Mhz, currently supporting 10Gbit/s applications (10 Gbase T ethernet). 10 times improvement in bandwidth and Improved specifications, particularly in the area of Alien Cross-talk (AXT) as compared to Cat6 UTP which exhibited high alien noise in high frequencies. The 10Gbase-T standard was originally intended for data centres and short transmission distances between servers however we have installed numerous Cat6A solutions for customers wanting to future proof the desktop end user. Ethernet technologies are continuously improving from fast Ethernet, gigabit Ethernet and 10 gigabit Ethernet however Cat5e and Cat6 are capable of 1 gigabyte applications which is more than adequate for the foreseeable future.
Cat6a cabling systems are very new and expensive. The price per port for a 10Gbase-T switch is very expensive at the moment although this will come down in the future, as more and more solutions are available. Cat6A cable is much thicker than its predecessors and as such requires extra sized containment including larger trunking basket and tray. Installing Cat6A now is one of future proofing depending upon the lifetime expectancy of the network cabling infrastructure and playing safe by having the fastest cabling system available. |
